Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with ADN.
• RN licensure in Texas required on hire.
• BLS certification required or must be certified on hire.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care under supervision of physician or nursing leadership.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and tests.
• Educate patients and document responses in medical record.
• Obtain informed consents for research or treatment.
• Triage patient inquiries and document in records.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in EMR documentation.
• Assist with policy/procedure improvements.
• Prepare equipment and assist during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain supplies.
• Attend meetings and participate in clinical activities.
