Job summary

Razor is seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Engineer to support Linux-based systems within an AWS cloud environment, emphasizing security, automation, and continuous monitoring. The role blends hands-on engineering with cyber responsibilities, including RHEL administration, scripting, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and cloud optimization.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance, strong RHEL/AWS skills, Bash scripting, vulnerability management, and security-focused system

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and Linux command-line.
• Bash scripting for automation and system administration.
• Experience with patch management, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners such as Tenable/Nessus and DISA STIGs.
• Ability to review findings and implement remediation actions.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience supporting security controls in Linux/cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, secure, and maintain RHEL systems in AWS.
• Develop Bash scripts to automate admin, monitoring, and remediation tasks.
• Implement security controls and perform system hardening.
• Run vulnerability assessments with Tenable/Nessus and address findings.
• Maintain Splunk dashboards, searches, and alerts for monitoring.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve security posture.
• Support security audits and compliance activities.
