The role monitors patient records, regulatory adherence, conducts site visits, and supports clinical investigations, focusing on improving quality and coordinating with SHCM/NHCM and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent human relations to interface with prescribers, patients, and employees to provide advice and direction.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures employee compliance with Lincare policies, procedures, protocols, and accreditation standards.
• Ensures patient education is integrated into patient care per prescriber instructions and policy.
• Maintains complete and professional patient assessments per policies and procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Represents Lincare professionally through patient care activities and reports.
• Maintains patient records in a complete, organized manner and in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Participates in site visits and chart audits; identifies root causes of deficiencies and tracks corrective actions.
• Participates in inspections by licensing or accrediting bodies; assists with corrective actions.
• Submits monthly reports highlighting trends from site visits and participates in regional quality meetings.
