Job summary

Ketchie Inc. in Concord, North Carolina, seeks a Multi-Axis Machining Quotation Project Lead to own the RFQ lifecycle from receipt to quote submission. You will develop compliant, competitive quotations by blending technical judgment with business acumen in a high-precision shop.

You will partner with machinists, materials specialists, and quality to surface risks early, ensure on-time quotes, and maintain profitability across government and commercial programs.

Qualifications

• 7 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read complex drawings and GD&T.
• Develop cost estimates and quotes with margin in mind.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, technical documents, materials specs, and GD&T.
• Develop cost estimates and detailed quotations aligned with company goals.
• Recommend process changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead discussions with customers and coordinate across sales, production, quality.
• Support new part launches and prove-outs for manufacturability.
