Job summary

Ketchie Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking a Multi-Axis Machining Quotation Project Lead to convert complex drawings into reliable quotes and profitable work. You will read prints, plan fixturing, assess tooling, and balance delivery with margin in a modern AS9100 environment.

You’ll own the RFQ lifecycle and coordinate with machinists, sales, production, and quality to deliver accurate quotations and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Mastery of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with new part introductions and prove-outs.
• Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the RFQ lifecycle for designated customers—from receipt to final quote submission and order review.
• Develop cost estimates and detailed quotations; evaluate each for cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate across sales, production, and quality to resolve issues and ensure accurate project execution.
• Support new part launches and prove-outs, translating intent into manufacturable methods.
