Job summary

SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider, seeks a Quote Coordinator to support the Program Management and Engineering teams in producing timely and accurate cost estimates for RFQs. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and adherence to SoPark quality and ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will prepare manufacturing cost estimates, analyze drawings, consult with clients and vendors, and assist with purchasing and inventory management to keep bids competitive and orders

Qualifications

• Associate degree or better in business from an accredited college, or three years of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimates the costs associated with developing and producing products based on RFQ data.
• Analyzes engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consults with clients, vendors, or personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Applies knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.
• Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for planning, organizing, and scheduling work, bids, and vendor selection.
• Maintains quotation information in the quote log.
• Prepares quotation responses and sends responses to customers or potential customers.
• Provides information to related departments as required.
• Assists Program Management Team in returning/dispositioning excess inventory as necessary.
• Assists with purchasing as necessary.
• Completes other tasks assigned.
