Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the RFP Writer - Medicaid Systems Modernization:

• Develop and draft formal RFP documents for State government use, focusing on healthcare and Medicaid systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate vision, objectives, vendor qualifications, payment structures, and other key procurement strategy elements
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and document requirements, deliverables, SLAs, and scope narratives
• Conduct market research to identify best practices and examples from other states' Medicaid and Exchange system procurements
• Create stakeholder communications and management plans throughout the RFP development process
• This is a 10-12 month contract position with occasional travel to Albany, NY

Required Skills for RFP Writer - Medicaid Systems Modernization:

• 5+ years of experience writing RFPs or other formal procurement documents for State government agencies
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting RFP sections, narratives, requirements, and SLAs
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, public health, or healthcare IT systems
• Proficiency in research and synthesis of information to support procurement strategy development
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
