Job description

Duration: 7-month contract + potential extensions

Location: Remote (8 hours/day Must work core hours 11AM-3PM EST)

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Clinical Pharmacist with a PharmD
• Experience in a hospital or health care system
• Specialization in one of the following areas: Pharmacotherapy or Internal Medicine
• Experience with clinical decision support, particularly in drug-disease alerting
• Strong background in clinical pathway development and formulary management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Job Description:

As a Medical Writer/Editor, you will monitor and review updates from the FDA for a subset of drugs, including new approvals and changes to existing medications. Under the guidance of pharmacist editors, you’ll determine which updates require integration into proprietary content management systems. Your work will cover a range of drug-related content such as dosing, side effects, interactions, and patient education. You’ll collaborate with a team of editors and over 20 pharmacists to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms. While this role does not involve regulatory support, it focuses heavily on drug-disease alerting and clinical decision support. Flexibility in working hours is available to accommodate cross-time-zone collaboration, with core hours aligned to Eastern Time.

Compensation:

$40/hr to $45/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
