Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Proposal Analyst to join the Global Proposal Management Team. You will own project setup, intake organization, and initial content development, acting as the main contact for sales screening and RFx triage.

You’ll streamline intake workflows and support proposal drafting, enabling Proposal Managers and leadership to execute high-stakes RFx responses smoothly. You will centralize product qualification and channel alignment to support scaling our sales

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project operations, enablement, or sales support handling high-volume intake workflows and tight deadlines (tech or SaaS background preferred).
• Ability to analyze process friction, diagnose bottlenecks, and optimize cycle times across complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to collaborate cross-functionally and enable sales teams on standards.

What is The Role:

In this role as a Proposal Analyst, you will serve as a foundational pillar within the Global Proposal Management Team (PMT), taking ownership of project setup, intake organization, and initial content development. You will act as the primary point of contact for sales screening and triage by evaluating incoming RFx requests, assessing vendor requirements, and aligning initial strategy to ensure project readiness. Streamlining intake workflows and supporting proposal drafting allows you to establish the framework necessary for Proposal Managers and senior leadership to execute high-stakes RFx responses smoothly. Centralizing product qualification and channel alignment directly supports scaling our sales operations to meet growing business demands.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough compliance assessments of incoming RFx requests to ensure all proposals meet necessary standards. Evaluate each request diligently to identify any compliance gaps and provide insights to align with overall project requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve the quality of proposals. Gather insights and feedback that enhance content clarity and persuasiveness. Ensure all proposals meet high standards for accuracy and professionalism.
• Partner with the Elastic channel teams to scale New Logo capture through partner organizations.
• Proactively coach, enable, and guide sales representatives on process adherence, intake requirements, and compliance standards to improve submission quality and cycle times.
• Curate and keep a central repository of completed deliverables. Collect the best responses to enhance our knowledge management. This will help quicken future response times.
  
  

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in project operations, enablement, or sales support managing high-volume intake workflows and tight deadlines (tech or SaaS background preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze process friction, diagnose administrative bottlenecks, and optimize cycle times across complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams, align external partners, and enable sales professionals on process standards.
• High systems fluency with the ability to quickly master tools like Salesforce, Seismic, and Google Workspace.
• Understanding of RFx processes and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

$74,200—$117,300 USD
