Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an RFID Applications Engineer Co-Op in North America for the Fall term. You will assist product development teams, working with RFID tags, printers, and readers in HF and UHF bands, and support data collection and testing efforts. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on lab work.

The program serves as a talent pipeline for our Early Careers Program, with opportunities to grow within a global materials science company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or other Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of CNC Technology.
• General familiarity with electronic systems and introductory programming background (Python, C#).
• MS Word, Excel or Google equivalents.
• Previous co-op experience.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with engineers on product development and customer use case decisions.
• Develop deep knowledge of RFID technology and its IoT, blockchain and omni-channel relevance.
• Join a technical team with focus on testing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Support engineers in RFID tag, printer, and reader development (HF/UHF).
• Operate automated RFID test systems and data collection processes.
