Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an RFID Applications Engineer Co-Op to join our North America team in the spring. You will support product engineers in developing RFID tags, printer systems, and reader systems in a lab or office setting.

This paid internship provides exposure to industry-leading RFID technology and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with a technical team to test, analyze data, and report results, helping to influence product development and customer use cases while gaining

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Knowledge of CNC technology.
Introductory programming background (Python, C#).
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

Working directly with engineers and influencing product development and customer use case decisions.
Obtaining deep knowledge of RFID technology which can enable IoT, Blockchain and Omni-Channel fulfillment.
Working as part of a technical team environment, with testing methods, data analysis, and reporting in spreadsheets, and generating technical and customer-facing reports.
Providing support for development of RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems in HF/UHF bands.
Utilizing automated RFID test systems and printer/reader systems to support testing, data collection, data organization, and reporting.
