Job summary

AWT Labels & Packaging in Garner, NC is seeking a Quality Control (QC) / Finisher to inspect, finish, and prepare RFID label products for shipment, ensuring all customer specs and quality standards are met.

The role requires visual and RFID testing, equipment operation, and accurate documentation. You will work a Wednesday-Thursday-Friday schedule from 5pm to 5am, with pay rules stating 36 hours paid for 40. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn RFID testing software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect RFID labels throughout production to verify compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections for print quality, die-cut accuracy, registration, data accuracy, and label appearance.
• Verify RFID inlays and encoded data function with testing equipment and software.
• Review production paperwork and customer specifications to ensure requirements are met.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to supervisors and production staff.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Operate finishing equipment and assist with machine setup as needed.
• Pack finished products and prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
