Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is hiring a Ticket Checker for Sunday River's guest services team. You will verify passes at RFID gates and greet guests, helping them find their way around the resort. No skiing experience required; warm gear provided and you’ll work outdoors in winter conditions.

You will support Lift Operations, assist with snow shoveling, and monitor credentials on a handheld device. This is a seasonal, part-time role with competitive hourly wages and employee perks, including

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• No prior experience required.
• Ski resort knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help the Lift Operations team prepare the area for ski lift passengers
• Assist with the shoveling, grooming, and raking of snow and ice when needed
• Greet guests
• Monitor a computer tablet to comfirm that guests poesses the correct credentials
• Assist guests when the ticket process is compromised
• Communicate to the Dispatch Office when someone is found to be utilizing our service without the proper credentials
• Become familiar with the resort's trails, basin areas and general resort layout
• Advise and assist guests as needed in a courteous manner
• Become familiar with the resort's policies, safety practices, and guest service expectations
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participate in safety meetings; accept diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions
