Job summary

Impinj, Inc. is seeking a seasoned RF/EE specialist to bridge engineering and global partners. You will deliver hardware and RF support, develop technical enablement materials, and lead complex issue resolution for RAIN RFID inlays and tags.

As a key technical advisor, you will craft demonstrations, document knowledge, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption by customers and field sales worldwide. Remote-friendly role with global time-zone coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 8+ years in RF/silicon engineering or related role.
• Structured analytical approach and strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with customers via email, phone, and presentations.
• Detail-oriented writing skills.
• Curiosity to learn new skills and tackle difficult problems.
• Proficiency with data analytics software and communicating complex data clearly.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions and proactive in responding to needs.

Responsibilities

• Be a RAIN RFID product technical domain specialist for global partners and field sales.
• Deliver high-quality hardware and RF technical support to customers with excellence in content and responsiveness.
• Engage with technical leadership at customers and partners on product features and applied methodologies for RAIN RFID inlays and tags.
• Generate and maintain technical enablement tools: documents, application notes, training, videos, reference designs, demonstrations, and testing.
• Identify and document product knowledge and benchmark against competition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build tech demonstrations or proofs of concepts showing Endpoint IC capabilities.
• Lead team-based efforts to solve complex customer issues by collecting data, capturing tag data with RF and test equipment, and analyzing results.
• Develop integrated plans to root cause issues for each customer case and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours to support global customers.
