Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a leader for RFIC characterization and validation to own the validation strategy and plan for wireless RF silicon in Apple’s SoCs.

You will guide bring-up, calibration development, and serve as technical owner for RF silicon readiness while staying hands-on in the lab and test code. You will work across design, systems, and program management to deliver end-to-end RF integration solutions, from pre-silicon emulation to mass production, and drive continuous improvement of

Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant RF industry experience.
• Significant experience in RF test development, hands-on debug, characterization, and reporting; ownership of validation through silicon bring-up.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: leading a project or small team and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python (highly desired), Perl, TCL, C++, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Own test plan development, bring-up preparation and execution; define validation criteria for each silicon revision.
• Plan and prioritize team work; allocate lab resources and manage timelines against tape-out and production milestones.
• Mentor engineers; participate in hiring and interviews to grow the team.
• Drive bring-up and functional validation from first silicon to final product.
• Establish a flow between pre-silicon validation, post-silicon characterization, and ATE test development.
• Generate comprehensive RF design verification and test reports.
