Job summary

Apple in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an RFIC Validation and Characterization Engineer to join the wireless RFIC team. You will validate radio transceivers integrated into wireless SoCs and perform hands-on bench testing, debugging, and system characterization of RF IP.

You will develop calibration routines, automate measurements with scripts (Python preferred), and collaborate with RF Systems, Design, and Integration teams to ensure performance targets are met through the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in RF test development, hands-on debug, performance characterization and reporting.
• Good scripting and automation skills (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (NS, spectrum analyzers, VSA, signal generators).
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless transceiver architectures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on bench testing, characterization, and debugging of RF SoC IP including transmitters, receivers, PLLs, PAs, and ADCs/DACs.
• Drive bring-up and validation of new wireless SoCs from first silicon to final product.
• Develop and optimize RF calibration algorithms and automation scripts.
