Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking RFIC Design Engineer Interns in the Advanced Cellular group to work on cellular and Wi‑Fi RF blocks, spanning 700 MHz to 7 GHz, with hands‑on design and layout responsibilities.

You will learn the IC design flow, perform simulations with ADS, Cadence and HFSS, and present results in design reviews alongside applications engineers. Candidates are pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with RF/microwave background; strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Pursuing B.S. (senior only), M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in RF/microwave circuit design, analog circuits, and electromagnetics.
• Experience with RF/analog simulation tools such as ADS, Cadence, and HFSS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver RF solutions for cellular and Wi-Fi from 700 MHz to 7 GHz.
• Architect, design, simulate, and layout RF blocks (PA, LNA, RF switches).
• Perform active/passive circuit design and RF simulations.
• Learn and apply the IC design flow from schematic to assembled circuit.
• Present results and participate in design reviews with engineers.
