Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a technically talented RF Design Engineering Intern to contribute to mm-wave design and RF module work. You will perform simulations, assist in device and package characterization, and present results to the team.

Current enrollment in an accredited BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering program with RF coursework is required, with familiarity in ADS/MWO CAD and EM solvers. A GPA of 3.5+ is expected.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with RF focus.
• Completed RF circuit design coursework.
• Familiarity with RF CAD/EM tools and Python a plus.
• GPA 3.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of mm-wave amplifiers and switches in GaAs/GaN as standalone ICs and in modules.
• Run linear, non-linear, and EM simulations with industry tools.
• Prepare and present design reviews to peers.
• Measure RF performance of modules and MMICs in the lab.
• Support laminate package characterization and probe testing.
