Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking a warehouse associate at our Lexington branch to accurately pick and prepare orders, reading customer orders and retrieving items from racks using barcodes and serial numbers.

You will update inventory in our ERP system after each pick, maintain a clean and safe warehouse, and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed. Join our team-oriented, non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc
