Job summary

Porsche Cars North America is seeking a Material Handler for roles in shipping, receiving, and inventory in the parts distribution center. The position may rotate across all areas with duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift driving, and cycle counting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of warehouse experience; forklift certification and RF equipment handling are preferred. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years of general warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate RF equipment are preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and knowledge of a parts information system are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive freight and unload containers.
• Identify, count and verify parts using receiving documents.
• Stock parts by part number and location.
• Pick orders using RF technology and packing labels.
• Pack parts according to requirements.
• Operate forklifts and order-picking equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and observe safety guidelines.
• Perform cycle counts and inventories as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as required.
