Job summary

Stfrancis is seeking a motivated undergraduate student in electrical engineering to join our RF hardware team in San Francisco. You will measure and validate performance of LNAs, amplifiers, mixers, and other RF blocks, and contribute to fast-paced hardware development.

You will write Python scripts to automate measurements, document test plans and data for review, and collaborate with engineers on hands-on design. US visa status requirements apply per government regulations.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or a related technical field.
• Passion for hardware development and experience working in fast-paced environments with hands-on design and development.
• Deep knowledge of basic RF concepts, including transmission lines, S-parameters, and RF building blocks such as amplifiers, mixers, and attenuators.
• Experience with Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience taking RF measurements using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and similar equipment.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status as required by U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay of $29.00 per hour.
