Job summary

Astranis seeks an RF Validation Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to design validation and measurement automation of RF hardware for new satellite designs. You will work on measuring and validating performance of LNAs, amplifiers, up/down converters, and filters.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's in electrical/related fields, with Python experience and RF knowledge. This internship offers hands-on hardware work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related technical field.
• Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts such as transmission lines and S-parameters.
• Experience with Python and object oriented programming concepts.
• Experience taking RF measurements with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, oscillators, etc.
• Write automation code to automate and speed up measurements
• Document test plans, measurement methodologies, and data for review
