Job summary

Pacific Network Solutions is seeking an RF Technician II in Gilbert, AZ to install, replace, and repair antenna systems on communication towers. You will climb towers, handle telecom equipment, and work with coax, fiber, and power systems to ensure reliable RF transmission.

The role requires readiness to travel overnight, operate in varied weather, and maintain safety standards on remote sites. CDL is advantageous and an MVR check is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• CDL is advantageous.
• Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform tower climbs to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with telecommunications tools and materials.
• Learn and develop expertise in assembling antenna sector frames, antennas, RRU/RRH, power and fiber distribution systems to industry standards.
• Install coaxial cables, power, and fiber trunks; make coax connections for reliable RF transmission.
• Become proficient in tower stacking and tower modification.
• Acknowledge and mitigate hazards of tower climbing and working near energized lines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment performance issues.
• Collaborate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and project managers.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work in adverse weather; other duties as assigned.
