A leading maker of Power Management ICs is seeking an RF Validation Engineer in Boston. The position focuses on characterizing RF performance for mobile devices and requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a solid RF testing background. Candidates should be experienced with digital pre-distortion and RF test equipment.
Our client is a leading maker of Power Management ICs and Modules for mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, wearables, and IoT devices. The company has a unique technology that helps solve power consumption in mobile devices while improving RF efficiency, as well as using a digital signal processing technique to restore linearity.
They are currently seeking an RF Validation Engineer who will work with the RF Systems team to characterize performance of RF Power Amplifiers, Power Management ICs, algorithms, and software. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE or MSEE with 2+ years of experience in RF Test of 2G-5G and WiFi devices. We are looking for someone who has familiarity with digital pre-distortion, supply modulation (envelope tracking), and who will ultimately be comfortable troubleshooting multiple types of RF issues that occur. Further skills include use of RF test equipment including VNAs, VSAs, and spectrum analyzer equipment, experience in test automation, and exposure to software/scripting including MATLAB, PYTHON, PERL, or GIT.
This position is in the Boston area and is not remote. The company sponsors H1-B VISAs, but US Citizens and Green Cards are preferred. Company is looking at hire at least 1 Validation Engineer.
