As a Qualcomm Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop, implement, and improve processes, methods, time standards, capacity plans, operation sequences, equipment, tools, materials, data analyses, spec setup, and production line layouts in the manufacturing of parts and assemblies. Qualcomm Manufacturing Engineers may collaborate with design engineering and other teams to improve product designs for manufacturing.

Member of QCT Test & Operation team managing OSAT’s test in Taiwan. We’re seeking a highly motivated, independent individual with a broad knowledge of engineering principles in a fast-paced high-tech environment. Candidate must have a solid foundation in the RF technologies and semiconductor test process to cover RFFE (RF Front End) that includes ANT module, RF Switch, LNA, PA, Transceiver, WLAN, QPM, PAMiD, filters, and PMIC.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 1+ year of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute on RF/PMIC product deliverables and ongoing product support tasks.
  • Provide technical support to analyze the electrical failures, improve product yield, and optimization continuously.
  • Suggest and collaborate with relevant cross-functional departments (Management, Project leaders, Packaging, Quality, Planning) for the correction according to yield data/analysis results and contribute in the areas of technical assessment, problem solutions, engineering disciplines, and execution to achieve results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of RF devices (ANT module, RF Switch, LNA, PA, Transceiver, WLAN, QPM, PAMiD, filters, and PMIC) with proficient RF or Mixed signal test knowledge.
  • 2+ years semiconductor ATE/NI-STS/Cohu-PAx platform engineering experience.
  • Experience on data analysis tools such as DataPower, SEDana, Galaxy, JUMP, Exensio, Spotfire and so on.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ATE (NISTS/Advantest/Teradyne) RF test solution and RF development experience.
  • 3+ years semiconductor ATE/NI-STS/Cohu-PAx platform engineering experience.
  • Excellent problem solving, debugging, documentation, presentation skills and proven experiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools (DataPower, SEDana, Galaxy, JUMP, Exensio, Spotfire and so on).
  • Skills in scripting language programming such as C++, Python and Perl.
  • Hands-on experience on lab equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, SigGen, etc.
  • Fluent in English.
