Job summary

Qorvo seeks an experienced RF test technician to support its expanding RF/DC test floor in a cleanroom setting in Richardson, TX. You will conduct DC and RF tests across broad frequency ranges, calibrate test stations, and ensure quality through data-driven improvements.

The role requires an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 2+ years in RF testing, and proficiency with PXI, RF sources, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of RF component testing experience.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment and MES/FPS software.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Desirable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies.
• Set up and calibrate S-parameters and power test stations.
• Perform limited test setup troubleshooting and fixture wiring.
• Support test setup improvements with engineers.
• Report progress to supervisor and internal customers.
• Assist training of less experienced team members.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to meet schedules.
• Review SPC charts and respond to out-of-control signals.
• Utilize MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC and MS Office.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, tool availability, cycle time and cost.
