Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Richardson, TX, is seeking an experienced RF Test Support technician to join its expanding RF/DC test floor.

The role focuses on conducting DC and RF tests, setting up and calibrating S-parameters and power stations, and supporting production schedules in a cleanroom environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RF testing experience, strong familiarity with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes), and proficiency with MES/FPS software.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years RF testing experience.
• Proficient with RF test equipment and MES/FPS software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment.
• Setup and calibrate S-parameters and power test stations per Qorvo standards.
• Perform limited test setup troubleshooting and assemble fixtures/wire harnesses.
• Collaborate with test engineers to improve test setups.
• Report test progress to supervisor and internal customers.
• Support training sessions and mentor junior team members.
• Work with manufacturing, process and equipment eng to meet schedules.
• Review control charts for process quality and respond to out-of-control conditions.
• Utilize MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC, MS Office for tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement to safety, tool availability, cycle time, and cost.
