Job summary

Qorvo is seeking an RF Test technician in Richardson, TX to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will work with engineering and operations to disposition products, diagnose process issues and help implement improvements on RF test equipment.

This role requires attention to quality, safety and cost goals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a semiconductor facility, strong communication skills, and familiarity with DOE/SPC tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree in STEM preferred.
• 3+ years in a semiconductor manufacturing facility preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with operations, equipment support and engineering.
• Understanding of DoE, SPC and statistical tools.
• Wear cleanroom attire; lift up to 25 lbs; stand for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and engineering to disposition products and update specs.
• Diagnose and resolve process problems following documented procedures.
• Set up and qualify assembly process equipment.
• Review RF test failures and implement improvements.
• Coach and assist factory operators to boost productivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, output and cost.
