Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an RF Test technician to join our semiconductor assembly team in Richardson, TX.

The role requires flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include dispositions with operations and engineering, troubleshooting RF test failures, setting up and qualifying assembly equipment, and coaching operators to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing facility preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods.
• Wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods during a 12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to perform product dispositions, process improvements, monitor statistical process controls, and update specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve process problems by following documented procedures.
• Set-up and qualify assembly process equipment
• Review and respond to RF test failures.
• Coach, train, and assist factory operators to enhance productivity.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output, and cost.
