Job summary

Intel Corporation in Arizona seeks a talented Module Development Engineer to join the Sort Test Technology Development team. Lead test technology development for advanced semiconductor design and manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production testing and processes.

The role requires strong background in RF/mixed-signal/high-speed test, hands-on ATE experience, and programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW. On-site employment in Phoenix, AZ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or materials science with 4+ years of industry experience OR Master's with 3+ years OR Ph.D. in these fields.
• Experience with RF lab equipment including mixed-signal, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and TDRs.
• Additional relevant experience in ATE testing, IC test, process improvement, or equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead test technology and processes for new product designs and manufacturing scalability.
• Optimize manufacturing techniques, including material selection, equipment metrology, and parameter refinement.
• Design and implement manufacturing processes and repair methodologies, including reverse engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and optimize production testing strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process compatibility across upstream and downstream operations.
• Engage with equipment and materials suppliers to support Intel's roadmap.
• Drive process and equipment improvements to enhance performance, yield, and manufacturability.
• Test and characterize analog circuits for power and thermals, including thermal profiling and recipe tuning for production control.
• Provide calibration for power delivery and device benchmarking.
• Perform ATE and bench device characterization.
