Job summary

BRINC is seeking an RF Test Engineer to design and develop test systems validating performance, reliability, and safety of drones and public safety products. You will build automated test setups, troubleshoot hardware issues, and ensure tests meet stringent quality standards.

Collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software teams is essential to improve designs based on test results. You will develop test procedures, scripts, and documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of RF testing experience in UAVs, robotics, or consumer electronics.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, wideband testers, and signal analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test hardware setups and automated testing for drone RF subsystems.
• Define and execute test plans to validate RF subsystems and their interaction with the drone.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and software for automated testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and recommend design improvements.
• Conduct environmental and stress testing to ensure durability in real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to refine designs based on results.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and resolution records.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
