Job summary

BRINC is seeking Senior-Principal Electrical Engineers to lead hardware development for drone systems, from concept to manufacturing, including PCB design, power regulation, and sensor integration.

You will collaborate across software, mechanical, and autonomy teams, drive architecture, perform analyses, and mentor a growing electrical engineering group to deliver high-reliability, mission-critical products for public safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience designing PCBAs for digital embedded systems (MCU, SoC, FPGA).
• Experience with power regulation and delivery systems.
• Experience with embedded interfaces and high-speed interfaces (MIPI, DDR, PCIe).

Responsibilities

• Own hardware development from start to finish - from specification to design, prototype, testing and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, perception, controls, and manufacturing engineers.
• Design flight hardware and test setups to validate designs.
• Establish top-level design architectures and communicate decisions clearly.
• Perform design analysis and testing; make data-driven decisions.
• Work with product partners to ensure design intent and customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
