Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking a qualified candidate for RF Test Engineer, Radar Systems. The RF Test Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product to include: test, installation, operation, maintenance and sustainability. Properly employs test assets in customer‑driven test objectives. Performs functional analysis and timeline analysis. The engineer will present a deep understanding of testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Office, industrial, environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
