Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking an RF Test Engineer in Fremont, CA to configure and run OTA chamber tests across sub-6 GHz and mmWave bands. You will perform comprehensive radiated measurements including TRP, TIS, EIRP, EIS, and MIMO OTA throughput, and validate GPS/AGNNSS OTA sensitivity as part of compliance testing.

The role involves debugging Desense issues, maintaining logs, and interfacing with TCBs for FCC/CE/ISED submissions.

Qualifications

• OTA testing experience in an RF lab environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with chamber architectures and RF measurement fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python for data parsing and instrument APIs.
• Knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, Wi-Fi 7/6E, Bluetooth and UWB PHY parameters.

Responsibilities

• Execute RF test plans in OTA chambers to validate device performance.
• Calibrate and operate multi-axis OTA chambers for FR1/FR2 bands.
• Collect, analyze, and log TRP, TIS, EIRP, EIS, and MIMO data.
• Interface with TCB teams and project managers for regulatory submissions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test setups and results.
