Job summary

Tacit, an innovative deep tech startup in San Francisco, is seeking an RF Systems Validation Engineer. This role focuses on developing and executing RF validation plans and is ideal for candidates with strong RF fundamentals and hands-on lab experience.

The successful candidate, with over 5 years of experience, will tackle challenges in automated RF measurement and support production testing. The compensation ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 annually, alongside a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RF, electrical, validation, product test, or manufacturing test engineering.
• Strong RF fundamentals and hands-on experience with lab equipment.
• Experience debugging hardware from prototype through production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute RF validation plans and characterization procedures.
• Support EVT, DVT, PVT, and pilot builds with yield analysis.
• Automate RF measurements across lab and production test setups.

Skills

RF fundamentals

Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment

Experience developing automated tests in Python

Understanding of electrical engineering principles
