Job summary

Actalent in San Jose, CA is seeking an RF Integration Engineer for a contract role focused on bring-up, simulation, integration and validation of advanced antenna and radio designs for Industrial IoT. You will test RF subsystems, automate test equipment with Python, and present results to cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on RF testing experience, VNA/spectrum analyzer proficiency, and familiarity with WLAN/BLE/5G/LTE.

Qualifications

Hands-on testing experience with RF subsystems.
Proficient Python scripting to automate RF test equipment.
Experience with VNAs and spectrum analyzers.
Familiar with RF front-end architectures.
Knowledge of WLAN/BLE/5G/LTE technologies.
Ability to perform 0402 SMT rework using standard tools.
Understanding of global wireless certification processes.

Responsibilities

Bring-up, simulation, integration, and validation of antenna and radio designs for Industrial IoT.
Test RF subsystems against defined performance metrics.
Develop Python scripts to automate RF test equipment.
Execute RF test plans and document results clearly.
Use VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and sniffers for RF characterization.
Evaluate RF front-end performance and suggest design improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss test findings and actions.
Contribute to test methodologies and automation framework improvements.
