AST SpaceMobile seeks an experienced RF Test Engineer to design, commission, and validate advanced RF automated test systems for next‑generation communications hardware. You will bridge production, test engineering, and hardware teams to ensure reliable manufacturing transitions.

The role emphasizes DF T/DFM input, KPI monitoring, troubleshooting, and trend analysis, with hands‑on calibration and ongoing performance optimization. Onsite work four days a week with remote flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of RF testing experience.
• At least 3 years with RF lab test equipment and automated test equipment (ATE).
• Experience supporting product validation, manufacturing test, or production test operations.

Responsabilités

• Bring up, commission, and validate RF automated test systems used for communications hardware testing.
• Qualify and verify RF test system performance against specifications and requirements.
• Provide DFT/DFM feedback during product and test system development.
• Monitor RF performance metrics and identify trends and anomalies.
• Generate reports detailing RF test results, risks, and recommendations.
• Calibrate, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot RF automated test systems.
• Support root cause investigations of RF performance issues across environments.
• Collaborate with production, test engineering, and hardware teams.
• Develop and deploy new RF test methodologies and validation processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of RF test workflows and manufacturing efficiency.
