Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to develop and execute system-level RF tests on spacecraft communications and payload systems from Louisville, CO. You will design test plans, scripts, and architectures, and lead calibration, RF troubleshooting, and anomaly resolution, while supporting 1st-3rd shift operations as needed.

This onsite role focuses on RF test strategy, integration, and automation using Python and industry tools, offering direct work on high-visibility spacecraft

Qualifications

Experience in system-level RF testing for spacecraft.
Experience with RF test planning, architecture, and execution.
Ability to obtain TS clearance or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop RF test plans, procedures, scripts, and architectures for spacecraft systems.
Execute system-level RF testing on spacecraft vehicles across S-/X-/K-band frequencies.
Support initial turn-on and flight-hardware readiness through RF campaigns.
Plan RF hardline testing and verify cabling/interfaces at the vehicle level.
Lead calibration planning and execution for test racks and measurement chains.
Develop automated test scripts to enable repeatable RF testing.
