Job summary

FIRST RF is seeking a Test Engineer to support engineering and production teams in testing antenna prototypes and products. You will translate requirements into mechanical, electrical, and RF test documentation, perform qualification testing, and report on status.

Responsibilities include test design, execution, data review, and reporting, with travel about 10% and a hybrid work arrangement. A background in lab environments and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math or equivalent.
• Experience designing test plans and procedures from product specs.
• Writing, analyzing, and reporting on test results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test documentation to meet customer and internal specs.
• Write test procedures detailing steps to complete testing.
• Track requirement compliance through verification methods.
• Design test fixtures and procure equipment to meet test requirements.
• Analyze test results and prepare deliverable Test Reports.
• Coordinate with off-site test houses for testing.
