Job summary

ITERRA in Puerto Rico seeks a RF Systems Engineer, Antenna Fabrication and Test to own antenna fabrication, measurement, and RF front-end integration.

You will advance from antenna design to VNA measurement, SDR modulation, and over-the-air testing in diverse terrains, documenting results and ensuring repeatability. Onsite work in San Juan with US facilities and security clearances preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics; recent grads to ~5 years' hands-on RF experience.
• Hands-on RF design, fabrication, and measurement experience.
• Strong RF fundamentals; antenna knowledge; SDR familiarity.
• Experience with SDR hardware/software tools (GNU Radio, UHD/SoapySDR).
• Willingness to work onsite in San Juan, PR; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Antenna fabrication, assembly, and measurement to specification.
• RF front-end design and trade-off analysis for sensitivity and noise.
• Waveform analysis from raw IQ; SDR modulation/demodulation.
• Test bench creation, calibration, and repeatable procedures.
• Over-the-air collection and ground-truth data labeling.
• Maintain documentation to support government criteria.
• Coordinate with mechanical and systems teams on integration.
• Onsite testing in San Juan and field environments.
