Job summary

L3Harris in San Diego, CA is seeking a skilled, self-driven Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing circuit cards and software, test case automation as well as conducting tests on RF hardware.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting abilities and demonstrate proficiency in both Python and LabVIEW. Essential duties include developing test plans, automating scripts, and collaborating with engineers to improve test procedures and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or Graduate Degree) is required/strongly preferred.
• Alternative: 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong proficiency in Python and LabVIEW is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for RF circuit cards, software, and RF hardware.
• Design and automate test scripts using Python and LabVIEW.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues during testing.
• Document test results and provide detailed feedback to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test procedures and product quality.
