Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in San Diego is seeking a Senior Associate, Test Engineering, SW to design, verify, and integrate automated RF test systems and subsystems. You will work with cross‑functional engineering teams to validate RF hardware across development, qualification, and manufacturing phases.

The role emphasizes creating automated test software using LabVIEW and Test Stand, developing test plans, and ensuring robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline and a minimum of 2+ years of SW programming, automated test, SW integration, or related engineering roles.
• Experience with automated test, SW integration, and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
• Familiarity with RF systems and aerospace/defense environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design automated test SW to be used in production testing with multi-unit capabilities, automated fault detection and test reporting.
• Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW and Test Stand.
• Develop, execute, and document SW test plans, setup procedures, and reports for production SW.
• Support design verification and validation testing as required.
• Analyze test data and provide clear technical conclusions and recommendations to design teams.
• Collaborate with RF design, systems, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation, SW requirements, and configuration-controlled records.
• Assist in transitioning test methods from development into manufacturing or production environments.
• Familiarity with Design for Test (DfT) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM).
• Ability to obtain a security secret clearance.
