Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, VT is seeking an Integration Engineer with extensive semiconductor experience to advance FEOL and BEOL device integration. You will drive DOE-based optimization, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet performance and yield objectives.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, establishing new design rules and test methods, and guiding projects from concept to implementation within the RF Technology Development Organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Electrical, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
• BS with 8–10 years, MS with 7 years, or PhD with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in semiconductor processing.
• Experience in Silicon or SiGe BiCMOS FEOL/BEOL processing and/or semiconductor process development.
• Cadence or other layout/simulation tools experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).
• Ability to relocate to Essex Junction, VT.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and qualify FEOL and BEOL devices and processes.
• Drive integration optimization using DOE methodologies, statistical analysis, and yield learning.
• Own and drive technical process problem solving.
• Interact with internal & external customers and respond to technical queries.
• Establish new technology design rules, test structures and test methodologies.
• Establish integration checkpoints, performance metrics, and technical success criteria.
• Drive continuous innovation through novel integration schemes, methodologies, and process improvements.
• Partner with unit process module engineers, failure analysis and characterization team to improve device performance and yield.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional development programs.
