Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an RF Technician for our San Jose, CA facility. The role focuses on microwave circuit alignment and testing to meet production schedules, supporting subsystems for missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners and synthesized sources.

You will conduct RF circuit alignment and circuit card testing, document data, and provide feedback to manufacturing engineers. The position requires US citizenship or eligible status and may involve a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience troubleshooting, testing and tuning RF equipment.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Ability to use small hand tools and work under a microscope.
• Strong written and verbal skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Computer skills including file manipulation and basic Excel; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies in a production setting.
• Perform RF tuning, troubleshooting and testing on microwave ICs and assemblies.
• Follow production documentation and maintain detailed test records.
• Participate in daily production meetings and interact with manufacturing engineers.
