RFSignalman is the leading 3rd Party Inspection and Test Service for Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Systems (ERRCS). These systems are installed to improve the radio coverage inside buildings to ensure our First Responders are able to communicate when responding to emergencies. We are looking for part time and/or full time candidates to perform Quality Control testing of these critical life safety systems. The Test Service is provided throughout the Bay Area to support new construction and annual inspection and test requirements.

RFSignalman is the leading 3rd Party Inspection and Test Service for Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Systems (ERRCS). These systems are installed to improve the radio coverage inside buildings to ensure our First Responders are able to communicate when responding to emergencies. We are looking for part time and/or full time candidates to perform Quality Control testing of these critical life safety systems. The Test Service is provided throughout the Bay Area to support new construction and annual inspection and test requirements.
This is an exciting new area of Fire Code Inspection and Test with lots of career opportunities. Job requirements include coordinating and conducting a comprehensive set of RF and Audio Quality tests to document the performance of Bi-Directional Amplifiers, Back-Up Power Systems, Fire Alarm Interfaces as well as Fiber Optic and Coaxial Distributed Antenna System (DAS).
A FCC License (GROL) is required as well as knowledge of RF Test Equipment, Spectrum Analysis, Land Mobile Radio Systems (LMR) and Interference Mitigation. Public Safety Radio experience is desired. Candidates with degrees in Engineering Technology and/or certifications in telecommunications, project management or manufacturer training for Public Safety BDAs are preferred. Travel from you home to the building is a requirement of the job. A drivers License and good driving record is required.
The preferred candidate will be an independent worker and have significant trouble shooting resolution and customer management skills.
