Job summary

SGS Consulting in Annapolis, MD seeks a technically skilled individual to program radios and infrastructure, pack radio kits, and handle data entry with barcode scanning. You will manage inventory, receiving, and dispatching subscriber goods, while providing basic PC desktop support.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical training and at least two years of technical experience, with customer-facing exposure and any LMR experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program mobile and portable radios and infrastructure.
• Organize and pack radio kits for shipment.
• Data entry into MS Excel and MS Word forms, including barcode scanning.
• Equipment handling: unloading/loading pallets.
• Pick and pack radio system parts per customer specs.
• Inventory management and stock checks.
• Receiving and dispatching subscriber goods.
• PC Desktop Support/System Admin Level 1.

Job Responsibilities

• Programming of mobile and portable radios, and infrastructure (training provided).
• Organize and pack radio kits for shipment.
• Data entry into MS Excel and MS Word forms, including barcode scanning.
• Equipment handling: Unloading/loading pallets.
• Pick and pack radio system parts/kits per customer specifications.
• Inventory management: Assist with stock take and maintain subscriber inventory accuracy.
• Receiving & dispatching subscriber goods.
• PC Desktop Support/System Admin Level 1.

Skills

• Lifting: 20–50 lbs. (assisted lift for 35 lbs.+).
• Climbing: Ladders to elevated platforms or rooftop penthouse.
• No harness or tower climbing required.
• Radio experience.
• PC help desk support.
• Programming & test equipment.
• Networking experience.
