Job summary

MKS Power Solutions in Rochester, NY seeks an Engineering Tech to partner with Systems and Design Engineering to test, troubleshoot, and assemble the next generation of RF plasma generators. You will report to one of the Systems Engineering Managers and contribute to prototype development in a lab setting.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent technician experience, 1+ year of related work, and experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF instruments.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or equivalent technician experience.
• Minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF instruments.
• Experience using schematics to troubleshoot PCBA problems.

Responsibilities

• Testing, troubleshooting and assembling prototype electro-mechanical systems.
• Conducting engineering tests and collecting design data.
• Performing fault isolation and failure analysis at multiple levels.
• Using test equipment and software to drive tests and collect data.
