Job summary

Penn State University’s Applied Research Laboratory in State College, PA, seeks analytical RF engineers to join the Strategic Systems Operation Division. You’ll research, design, develop, integrate, and test advanced wireless RF systems for national and international impact.

Travel to sponsor locations is frequent, including beltway and international sites; the role supports DoD and other government programs and partners with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with passive and active RF systems.
• Troubleshooting, measuring, and designing RF systems.
• Knowledge in RF circuit implementation, test, and analysis.
• Understanding of antenna theory and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Apply RF expertise to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure technical excellence and on-time completion of tasks.
• Develop and deliver program status updates to Fleet-level personnel.
• Interact and collaborate regularly with engineering team, sponsors, and stakeholders.
