Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an RF Systems Integration and Test engineer to define and execute high-throughput wireless bring-up and testing for next-gen satellite systems in Redmond, WA. You will collaborate across RF, PHY, MAC, and firmware teams to reach conformance and performance targets.

The role emphasizes 3GPP-based testing, lab verification of Doppler compensation, and scripting with Linux/Python to automate test workflows and diagnose issues thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up and integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite comms.
• Architect, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks.
• Collaborate across PHY, RF design, digital beamforming, MAC, and firmware teams for seamless integration.
• Understand Doppler compensation techniques and test them in the lab; channel emulators a plus.
• Trade link budgets and verify RF lineup for payloads in RF/IF configurations.
• Characterize performance, analyze data, and drive high product quality in lab environments.
• Develop testing procedures with Linux, Python, Bash scripting; support FPGA verification.
• Work with RF, ASIC, SW, Comsys, and Testbed teams to advance testing and integration.
