Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to support the RF Systems Deployment & Sustainment team. The role blends lab/integration work with travel to customer sites for deployments, upgrades, and field support. You will build, debug, and improve hardware systems and collaborate across disciplines.

The position requires hands-on aptitude, RF knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 25% with on-site work in Huntsville, AL. A DoD clearance is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar; 2–4 years experience or Master’s with <2 years experience
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25%
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
• On-site work in Huntsville, AL, with DoD clearance requirement

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration, build-outs, cabling, and configuration of RF hardware.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, repair, and root-cause analysis of electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues.
• Travel to customer sites to support deployments and upgrades.
• Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers) and hand tools.
